Empty . . .
by Tim Buda
Photo A (“Takeout Only): A very popular restaurant among Salisbury students, Cali Burrito is always packed and full of joy and music on a day like today, but the Coronavirus has put a hold on that for now. All restaurants are takeout only if they are open, and some do not even let customers inside.
Photo B (“Ghost Mall”): On a typical gloomy Saturday, you might see people shop at the local Salisbury South Mall. Or even Salisbury students working at the newly installed Yocco’s Hot Dogs right next door. However, all this has come to a stop due to Coronavirus and the stay home order and the would be packed lot looks like a ghost town.
Photo C (“Two Sides Divided”):I-78 is the core highway connecting the east side and the west side of Salisbury, but the stay at home orders make the highway seem empty. Without school, it makes it almost impossible for students who live on opposite sides of the district to see each other.
