Salisbury swimmers dive into the new year with meets against Allen, Quakertown, Tamaqua, and Whitehall. Coaches and swimmer hosted the annual teacher appreciation swim meet against Whitehall on Tuesday.
Swimmers were asked to invite their favorite teacher to come watch them swim, and give thanks to them for all their hard work.
The SHS teachers that attended Tuesday’s meet are Ms. DosSantos, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Borthwick, Mr. Pearce, and Mr. Barna. The swimmers are grateful that their favorite teachers came to support them.
Some scores of the meet were in the girls 50 yard backstroke, Whitehall won first and second place and Salisbury won third place. Salisbury won first place in the boys 50 yard backstroke, Whitehall won second place and Salisbury won third place.
Some other scores were in girls 50 yard freestyle which Salisbury won second and Whitehall won first and third place. The winners of the boys 50 yard freestyle were all from Whitehall.
