At Salisbury we are very lucky to have agreements with some local universities that allow students at our high school to take college classes during their senior year. This opportunity is available with both Lehigh University and Moravian. These institutions of higher learning offer Salisbury students a few seats in their classes each year.
This year, one student, Bryce Erdman, was accepted into Lehigh’s High School Scholar program and took a course on Materials and Processes. Bryce was very grateful to get a head start on the college process.
“It was an exciting opportunity to get some early preparation for what college classes entail”
Thanks to our counselors and Lehigh, Bryce was able to try out the college experience in a small way while still in high school. Next year, it’ll be easier to navigate all the changes that come with college thanks to Bryce’s efforts this year.
This program cycles every semester and the first available time for new students to apply is 2019’s fall semester. For any juniors that are interested, the time to apply will be later this spring. Contact your counselor if you’re interested.
