2018 Salisbury Boys Basketball

By Colten Hagadus

The boys’ season starts this Friday at home v.s. Blue Mountain. The Falcons are hoping to start the season on a high note.

Coming off of a state playoff appearance, the Falcons are looking to achieve that same success this year as well. Two starters from last year are back; Junior Sean Snyder and Senior Jack Reichenbach. Reichenbach hopes to score his 1000th point of his varsity career this season. It is a young team with not much varsity experience so they are going to have to adjust to the speed of the game on the fly. Losing Ryan Slutsky and Jaxon Costello, hurts the team height wise, because both players were over 6’4. Now they are counting on Senior Oliver Stewart to play center position. He is not as gifted height-wise, but makes up for it with athletic ability. A key part of the Falcons success this year will rely on ability to rebound the basketball and the ability to play as a team.
