What Candidates Research

By Andrew Fletcher

The Internet is one of if not the most important facets of American society today. The new age of electronics, and the Millennial generation, have brought about an increased prominence of the web’s role in the lives of everyday people. Billions of people use the Internet for shopping, work, news, entertainment, directions, and even research. However, this research must be conducted responsibly, as much of the information out there is not exactly the truth (just check this section of the school newspaper).

Our politicians are only human, so it’s reasonable to expect that they use the web to get much of their information. Donald Trump states that “All I knows is what’s on the Internet.” Therefore it would be also be reasonable to expect that the information that they disseminate to the American people is correct. That’s why a detailed report recently conducted to find out the most visited sites of the 5 remaining presidential candidates is so interesting. Finally there’s a way to see where our politicians get their news from. Here are the results.
