Representatives from Colleges and Army to Visit Salisbury

Various colleges and representatives from the military are coming to Salisbury High School to meet with students and answer their questions. The US Army is set to come visit today, March 22. They will be meeting with students and answering questions about career opportunities in the military during Falcon Period. Juniors and Seniors who are interested should obtain a pass to the guidance office prior to the Army’s visit.

On Tuesday, April 5, the a representative of the United States Navy will visit Salisbury High School to meet with students at 9 a.m. The representative will be talking about career opportunities in the Navy. Just like with the US Army representatives, students should obtain a pass prior to the visit no later than Monday, April 4th.

A representative from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is the last to visit Salisbury High School in the coming weeks. The representative from Thaddeus Stevens will meet with students at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 5. Thaddeus Stevens College is the Pennsylvania’s premier two-year college of technology and has a 95% success rate in graduates in the work force.

These opportunities are great for SHS students to help them gather information about their options after college and decide if they want to pursue one of these opportunities after high school. Representatives from other colleges will continue to visit throughout the year.
