By Lindsay Bauer

On Saturday, February 27th Salisbury High School students participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science’s regional competition… and returned with much success. The students who earned a first place award will be competing in the state competition at Penn State University in May. Freshman Gabriella Grym will be making that trip to Happy Valley, as she was one of many Salisbury students to be awarded with a first place. “I enjoyed the competition very much because I got to hear other presentations, and it was interesting to hear what experiments other people conducted,” she said. “To prepare for the state competition I am going to practice my speech even more so that I can hopefully not have to use my notecards. I’m very excited for the trip to PSU,” said Grym. In addition to Grym, those first place winners include:
