SHS Boys Basketball State Playoff Ticket Info

By Agostino D’ancona

With the Salisbury Boys’ Basketball win over Bethlehem Catholic last Friday in a consolation game, it boosted the team to the PIAA 3A state playoffs. The boys kick off the first round this Friday at West York Area High School. You can buy tickets in advance for the game in the main office. They will be on sale Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. All adults are $6 and students are $3. There is no senior citizen discount for PIAA playoffs. All tickets purchased at the game will be $6. There will be no student rate. We encourage everyone to buy tickets through the school because for every adult ticket the school will be reimbursed $1 and for every student ticket the school is reimbursed $0.50.

Other things to keep in mind for the game: you will be prohibited from removing your shirt and/or body painting, and spectators seated behind the free throw line are not allowed to distracting the player on the free throw line. Banners, balloons, laser pointers, noisemakers,  pom-poms, shakers, signs, sirens, strips of material, towels, whistles, and/or portable listening devices without earphones will not be permitted. We strongly encourage everyone to come out and support the boys, but to also keep in mind the rules that the PIAA have put in place.
